52nd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast

When the Dream Is On Trial

The Alpha Foundation of Howard County, Inc., in association with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Phi Lambda Chapter, invites you to join us for the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast, Sunday, January 10, 2027, at Martin’s West. This year’s theme, “When the Dream Is On Trial,” challenges us to consider what Dr. King’s dream requires of us when the principles of justice, equality, opportunity, and hope are being tested. Each year, nearly 1,000 community leaders, elected officials, educators, students, members of the faith community, and supporters gather for this signature celebration of Dr. King’s life and enduring legacy.

Tickets and tables are now available. Individuals, organizations, businesses, churches, and community partners are encouraged to reserve early and be part of this important gathering. Proceeds from the Breakfast help support scholarships, educational initiatives, youth programs, and community service efforts benefiting young people and families throughout Howard County and the surrounding region.
